Update to the despicable apple company. In the paper this week was an article about Apple trying to bully around a local private college claiming that their logo which being a teaching college is an apple. The apple looks nothing like the apple logo in detail only in general shape. An apple is of course an apple.

Apple is at it again of course trying to bully the college to change their logo. The worst part of all of this is that the college is a college that uses only Mac hardware for teaching. Apple has no shame.

The majority of the world is fed up with your crap Apple just rollover and die already.

Quote ("Glad to see there are still windows fans out there. I was wondering where you all went.")

REALLY, you are joking right? The PC user outnumbers the MAC user infinitely. It's not a matter of whether or not I am a windows fan its a matter of choice. I prefer the versatility of Windows to MAC OS. This post was more of a response to the marketing campaign that MAC is using to try and promote their product. MAC has nothing on PC so they have reverted to poo slinging like a bunch of zoo monkeys.

Thank you for your input however. I figured this post would stir up some MAC users and fuel the never ending debate about MAC vs PC. I work with clients that are on MAC and sorry to say they crash just as often as my PC. Crashes are not just random events that happen on you computer, unless it is a hardware failure. The majority of crashes that I have seen have been due to user error or cluttered mismanaged machines. As far as Mac not running "isolated software" come on you have got to be kidding with that statement. MAC is so limited on what software titles are available and file formats they can handle. Video codec support is so limited to the point that I need to use I-Pod codecs to format video so that my mac clients can use it in i-DVD.

As far as switching your multimedia company to MAC that is a choice you made. One of the multimedia companies that I sub contract to was a MAC house and switched back to PC because they were fed up of jumping through compatibility hoops during projects.

Each to his own the world has a choice and the majority of the population has chosen the more versatile PC platform. Mac has its market and I find it interesting that in 2008 MAC shipments increased by 12% over 2007 when they switched to using a PC(INTEL) CPU??? If MAC was so almighty and powerful why do they need a PC CPU to move forward in the market place?

Just some things to chew on a little. No need to get into an endless debate about which is better but seeing as it is the weekend I'll head off now and do some gaming! I welcome all the MAC people out there to join me in a game but we all know that is impossible!

I found this to be incredibly funny. I ran a multimedia company for over 20 years. That's right, we practcally invented multimedia in 1986. Last year we switched to Macs and have found that they don;t crash, they perform WAAAYYY faster in photoshop, flash, all formats of video and many other tools. They do NOT run 3D Studio MAX or some isolated tools like that. But after 20 years of PCs, there is no way I would ever switch back to one. I am so tired of BSDs and hangs every time a piece of software gets confused. When I think of the millions of dollars lost with crashing, glitchy PCs, I am a happy switcher.

Good blog though! Glad to see there are still windows fans out there. I was wondering where you all went.
