Although I do agree that we need to promote the cleaner vehicles, it is not being done the appropriate way. Sanctioning spots for Hybrids does nothing for the cause it only alienates those that cannot afford the overpriced Hybrid vehicles. If the car companies really cared about reducing the emissions and promoting the hybrid vehicle then we would have a hybrid option for EVERY vehicle without an increase in the price of the vehicle. Kind of dumb, but I find it funny. Down here (Southern California) we have a grocery store called "Fresh-n-Easy" that has parking spots reserved for Hybrid Vehicles only. I've got a truck, a fairly big truck, it bigger than those little polluting plastic death traps. Anyway being that there is always one or all of the spots open, I park in the the Hybrid "Only" spot. Have yet had anyone say anything to me but I look forward to the day they do. Not going to be mean, just gonna laugh at them. My biggest problem is the general population just accept this because they are so brainwashed. In BC there is environmental levies on some electronics for crying out loud. However with the cool temps we've been having we may be coming into another ice age lol!! I’m right there with you!!
