Well not doing the conversion to the OS engine as the part was discontinued so I have now received my new TRX5207R Race version with Pull Start. I removed all the EZ Start hardware and saved close to 6OZ of weight and it looks much nicer under the body.
Other than the throttle connection which just needed to have the Z-Bend flipped on the horn I have not needed to make any modification to get the pull start 2.5R onto the chassis.
Waiting on a FlyWheel to come and then I will get this puppy up and running.

i just put a sirio .27tx motor into my t-maxx and it is insane.when they say these sirio motors make good power they aren’t kidding.it will wheelie at almost any speed and flip over backwards if you aren’t careful.
